The single storey cottage does require some modernisation and renovation work but is connected to mains water and electricity. Once renovated it would make a cosy holiday home.

The main entrance to the cottage leads directly into a living room. Off this living room there is a kitchen with a brick fireplace and door to the garden at the rear of the cottage. There are two bedrooms, both of which are off the living room. At present the property does not have a bathroom, however this is quite easy to install and would take a professional builder approximately a week to complete.

To the rear of the cottage there is an open fronted log store and a detached storage building. The property has a courtyard style garden area at the rear with a couple of mature trees and shrubs. To the side of the cottage there is a gated pathway which leads to the garden.

The cottage is situated near the town of Ansião which has a selection of shops, restaurants, a supermarkets, bakers, butchers, library, schools, municipal sports centre and a weekly market. Coimbra, Portugal’s third city, is approximately half an hours drive from the property and is home to Portugal’s oldest university and is a popular destination for tourists.
